Booking Conditions

1. Please telephone me on 01285 740210 or 07967 652755 or email me ec.mann@btinternet.com before making a booking to ensure the week you want is free.
2. A booking becomes firm on receipt of the deposit, which is 33% of the full weekly rate. The balance is due 6 weeks before the let commences. If the let is cancelled the owner will seek to re-let the property and ONLY IF IT IS RE-LET will the owner return any payment after deducting the direct cost of re-letting plus £20 for administration.
3. Lilac Cottage provides accommodation for 3 people and Lavender Cottage for 4 people. There is room in each Cottage for another person who will need an extra bed (cost £25). These numbers must not be exceeded without permission of the owner.
4. Each user of the cottage shall undertake to treat it carefully, and leave it clean and tidy. If there is any damage or breakage, then please report this quickly to me. I may ask you to pay for it!
5. Each user of the cottage undertakes to pay for fuel and electricity charges used during the letting. Meter readings are taken just prior to your arrival and as you leave, when the amount to be paid will be calculated. Off peak heating and hot water are included in the weekly price.
6. Pets are welcome at the cost of £15 per week. Please do not allow them upstairs or on the sofas and chairs. They must be kept under control when outside the garden and any dog poo must be cleared up!
7. The letting period shall be from 4pm Friday to 10am on the following Friday unless otherwise agreed.
8. The cottages are non-smoking, but of course you are welcome to smoke outside.
