Introduction

• They are on two levels with stairs leading to the upper floor.
• They each have a downstairs wc.
• Information folder and leaflets in sitting room
• Good mobile phone reception
• No smoking

Pre-arrival

• We have a comprehensive website with full details of the cottages, local information and contact telephone numbers.
• Bookings and enquiries can be made either by email or phone.
• We can also send a printed brochure on request.

Arrival and parking facilities

• There is parking for 2 cars per cottage on level gravel beside the tarmac drive.
• Visitors to Lavender may also park in the garden.
• Paved path leads to the front door.
• Automatic outside light over the front doors.

Main entrance

• Two steps of 15 cm (6") and 10cm (4") lead up to the front door 2cm (3/4") threshold (Lavender)
• Two steps of 5cm (2") and 4cm (1¾ ") and a threshold of 3.5 cm (1½") - Lilac
• Inside is a small lobby with stairs straight ahead and doors to sitting room and kitchen

Public areas: general (internal)

• All rooms are well lit.
• Standard lamps.
• Light switches are all high level and sockets low level.
• All rooms are carpeted except bathrooms, kitchens, rear hall and utility rooms.
• The windows of the front of the cottages and Lavender's rear kitchen window are double-glazed.
• Night store heating and extra electric heaters
• All doors downstairs are 76cm (30") wide
